JC Joyce is a Vice President at Scheels and serves as the Store Leader in Rapid City, South Dakota where she leads a team of nearly 300 associates with the goal of being the best retailer in the United States in the eyes of the customer. JC started with Scheels in Lincoln, NE in 2000 and has been in her current role in Rapid City since 2008.

JC was raised in Colorado as a Husker fan, so naturally she attended the University of Nebraska to obtain BS degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She is a strong believer in strengths-based positive psychology and her top five Clifton Strengths Talent Themes are: Harmony, Analytical, Individualization, Connectedness, and Belief.

JC and her husband, Nick, have 3 kids; Avery and Xander are 10 and Lincoln is 7. She spends her free time surfing, exploring the Black Hills, cheering at the kids’ sporting events, volunteering at her church and throughout the community. JC is a TeamMates mentor, Rapid City TeamMates Board member, and is the board chair for the TeamMates of South Dakota.
