Dan began his career as a instrumental music teacher in Iowa, then transitioned to a career in Human Resources and worked for 7 years as an Employee Assistance Program counselor and consultant which included 4 years at Continuum EAP in Lincoln, NE. Dan worked for 12 years as a learning consultant and coach for the Gallup Organization, where he led strength-based seminars for managers and leaders. He also worked extensively as a keynote speaker and seminar leader presenting workshops on leadership, management, personal development, well-being and humor to individuals and companies from all over the US and internationally.

Dan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Drake University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska. He plays the saxophone in several groups including the Nebraska Wind Symphony. Dan is currently participating in the Douglas/Sarpy Master Gardener program where he volunteers in the community with other Master Gardeners.

Dan has been a Teammate mentor for the past 17 years and has served on the Board for the Omaha Public School Teammate Chapter, presented at Teammates Leadership events and has delivered keynotes for Teammates chapters in Nebraska and Iowa.
He is currently on the Board for the Papillion-La Vista Teammates Chapter.
