Marlenia Thornton is a University of Nebraska – Lincoln alumna and long-time Lincoln resident. She graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcasting and News-Editorial.
Marlenia is a former TV news reporter. She worked in the news industry for three years before returning to the education field. She currently works for Lincoln Public Schools as its Communications Coordinator. Marlenia is also pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Nebraska.
Her passions are storytelling and human investment. She’s committed to helping people tell better stories and developing people, teams and communities to their fullest potential.
